What you'll experience

Throughout this week-long workshop, you'll learn key concepts and immediately apply them to build a fully functional application. Each day is designed to balance theory and practice, ensuring that you gain both the knowledge and the experience needed to tackle real-world projects.

Here’s a quick look at our daily plan:

• Day 1: Kickoff & Environment Setup
  Start by setting up your project environment and creating your very first composable. We lay the foundation for a smooth journey ahead.

• Day 2: UI Basics & Core Architecture
  Discover the fundamentals of composable functions and the underlying architecture of Jetpack Compose as you craft the main components of your app.

• Day 3: State Management, Theming & Side Effects
  Learn how to manage state effectively and style your application with custom theming to create a consistent look and feel.

• Day 4: Layouts, Modifiers & Custom UI Components
  Explore layout structures and modifiers, then put your skills to the test by designing custom UI elements.

• Day 5: Navigation, Lists/Grids
  Master multi-screen navigation, and build dynamic lists and grids with LazyColumn, LazyRow, and even staggered grids.

• Day 6: Animations and Shared Element Transitions
  Enhance your app with smooth animations and shared element transitions to create a truly engaging user experience.

• Day 7: Testing, Debugging & Final Touches
  Conclude with rigorous testing, debugging, and polishing your application to ensure it’s production-ready.
